WOMEN OF BLIJBURG

Some time ago, about 50 photographers took the initiative to ‘Document Amsterdam’. Each six months we photographed the same theme on the same day in our city.

When the theme of ‘women’ came along, I decided to go to Blijburg, one of our most popular city beaches of Amsterdam. It was 32 degrees Celsius that day.

I put up a white background role and asked the women lying on the beach around me to pose for me.
